🌟 Earn Coins & Win!

Each player earns coins for participating in their turn. Coins are awarded based on the creativity, effort, and emotional impact of their responses or contributions.

  • 💰 Participation Coins: Earn 2 coins for answering the question associated with the space you land on.
  • 💡 Bonus Coins: Earn extra coins (1-5) decided by the rest of the players based on how creative, heartfelt, or funny your response is.
  • 🏆 Winner: At the end of the game, the player with the most coins is crowned the Family Connection Champion and can decide a fun group activity for the next family night.

🎮 How to Play (Rules Refresher):

  1. Setup:

    • Display the virtual game board (screen share via Zoom, Google Meet, etc.). Assign each player a virtual token (emoji, letter, or color).
    • Use a virtual dice roller for gameplay. Track everyone’s position on the board and their coins. Click on this link to access a virtual dice roller that you can use to move your pieces in the board game.
    • No physical cards—simply read the questions aloud based on the type of space a player lands on.

  2. Turn Mechanics:

    • Players roll the dice and move their token forward.
    • Land on a space → the player reads or listens to the corresponding question (based on the theme).
    • Answer the question thoughtfully to earn participation coins. Bonus coins are awarded as per the family vote.

Game Ends When:

  • All players reach the finish box on the board or the group finishes a set number of turns.

💎 Treasure Chest Space: Earn 5 extra coins when you land here! You must answer this question: “What’s one moment in the game so far that made you feel especially happy or connected?”

🔄 Swap Space: Each player gives a fun compliment to the person on their left. Whoever gives the best compliment (voted by everyone) earns 3 bonus coins.

🌀 Mystery Space: The group creates a unique (and usually ridiculous!) question for you to answer on the spot!
