My birthday is in October. For years I made the same wish, and this year I decided to stop wishing it and start giving it away.
The wish is simple. I want every child to know they are worth celebrating. Not only on one day a year. On ordinary Tuesdays, on hard days at school, and in the middle of a busy restaurant while the food is still too hot to eat.
